10am: pet-oberfest. pet-oberfest will take place at the bertke electric warehouse centrally located to the heart of cincinnati on saturday, october 10th 2015 from 10am – 5pm. hundreds of adorable dogs, cats, puppies, & kittens will be available for adoption from local shelters and rescue groups. pet-oberfest is a cooperative effort where shelters and rescue groups come together in a free, fun, festival-like atmosphere to find homes for hundreds of animals during one exciting day. 10:30am: the 1919 tour. in conjunction with the reds hall of fame & museum, the 1919 tour focuses on events and activities surrounding the controversial 1919 world series, which pitted the reds against chicago white sox and is associated with the “black sox” gambling scandal. the walking tour visits locations where the scandal unfolded and examines the cast of characters involved in the infamous event. fountain square. $20. >>

7:30pm: bonnie and clyde. the sunset players opens its 36th season with bonnie and clyde, a dynamic musical of love, adventure and crime. bonnie and clyde meet and decide to pursue their dreams of fame and excitement, which sends them on a downhill spiral that gets everyone in trouble. arts center at dunham. $16. >>
