5:30pm: homebodies (1974) screening. chase public is proud to screen larry yust’s 1974 black comedy “homebodies.” filmed primarily in the western portion of cincinnati’s over the rhine neighborhood, “homebodies” (96min) is a film about a quiet group of pensioners who learn that their homes are to be torn down to make way for new development, and they decide to take action. what starts as an attempt to discourage the developers soon escalates into wholesale murder of those who wish to push them from their homes. byob. chase public. free. >>
