10am: surplus furniture-fixtures-equipment sale no 2. see what is taking up space at park + vine as we prepare for a big store redesign at our next monthly sale on surplus furniture, fixtures and equipment 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. march 5. pick up baskets, metal racks, chairs, retired store fixtures, and other crazy stuff in our rear clearance room at seriously discounted prices. surplus items are priced as marked and non-negotiable. urchases are available via check, credit card (american express, visa, master card, discover) or cash. all sales are final. park + vine. >>

6pm: artist talk w/ richard gilles and carsten meier. manifest gallery. free. >>

6pm: owl prowl. raptor incorporated ( will be here with an exciting presentation on the birds of prey that inhabit spring grove cemetery. first, see them up close in the norman chapel (constructed in 1879) then prowl through the grounds to see and hear them in their natural habitat. please dress accordingly if you will be participating in the outdoor portion of the program. spring grove cemetery & arboretum. free w/ required registration + suggested donation of paper towels, printer paper, he laundry detergent, latex gloves. >>

7pm: harbour w/ we are forever, static wonder, circle it. madison live. $10. >>

7pm: cotton or fruits/flowers, work by traci fowler & travor schmutz. cotton or fruit/flowers commemorates two moments of celebration –four years as partners, two years as co-directors. last march traci fowler and trevor schmutz worked together on common law, an exhibition at kitchen space, the space they co-run in their apartment in chicago. picking up where they left off, fowler and schmutz probe further into the idiosyncrasies of their parallel relationships: as partners and as artists/facilitators. live-in gallery. free. >>
